How the power world changes. 2007 has brought about a huge change int he UPS world. Groupe Schneider has purchased APC, and made the decision to add APC into their existing UPS company, MGE UPS Systems, Inc. To be allowed to do this the European Economic Commision required MGE to divest itself of their worldwide single phase product line, as well as their power conditioner and inverter lines. Those were sold to Eaton-Cutler Hammer. The rest of MGE was merger into a new company called APC/MGE Critical Power
